At Family Dental Centre we are able to perform a lot of minor oral surgery using a laser rather than a knife. These procedures include plastic surgery to make your gums look better, removal of pigmentation on the gums, frenectomy to repair a tongue tie, or a lip-tie.

A laser results in dramatically reduced healing time. No blood at all. No post-operative pain (thanks to a special effect where the laser seals off the nerve endings in the surgery site).
